Coach Kate is a mom of 3, a wife, and has a passion for making everyone around her succeed in life! Currently located in Rhode Island, has been cheering since 1992 and coaching since 2004. She has her Bachelor's in Health Education, Master's in Business Administration, and PhD in Leadership. She has been volunteering with the North Kingstown Jaguars Recreational Cheer program since 2021, first as a coach and then as the Cheer Coordinator where she was introduced to Coach Kay (the other Kate). They are two peas in a pod, balancing each other out, they love working together striving to have kids fall in love with cheer and athletics!
Coach Kate specializes in all-level cheerleading, all-level tumbling, nutrition and wellness, health education, and youth coaching.
Certifications include: U.S. All-Star Federation - Cheer and Dance (USASF), National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), USA Cheer Coach, Child Abuse Prevention, Cheer Safety, Cheer & Dance, CDC Heads Up Concussion, First Aid, and CPR.
Our coaches are not only highly knowledgeable and experienced in cheerleading, but also deeply passionate about helping our athletes and the youths in our community achieve success and whole body wellness.
Our coaches are USASF and NFHS certified.
Wildcats Gym Manager, Instructor
Coach Kay, (Because there can't be TWO Coach Kates under one roof) located in Rhode Island, has been cheering since 2001 and coaching since 2008. She has her B.A. in Communications and minor in Psychology, with a strong focus on Interpersonal Communication and Child/Adolescent Development. She volunteered with the North Kingstown Jaguars Recreational Cheer program from 2021-2024 where she was introduced to Coach Katelyn Mayberry. The two have worked alongside one another closely over the past few years, and share the same passion for youth sports and cheer.
Coach Kay specializes in group stunting, conditioning, youth basic and adaptive tumbling and fitness. Certifications include: U.S. All Star Federation - Cheer and Dance (USASF), National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), Child Abuse Prevention, ALICE, CDC Heads Up Concussion, QBS Safety-Care Specialist, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and CPR.
