Wildcats Cheer - Competitive Cheer Teams

Ages 3 years - 18 Years

 

Wildcats Cheer Inc. offers competitive Prep and Elite cheer teams for athletes of all ages and skill levels! Our teams include Baby Jaguars (half-year only), Little Leopards, Servals, Caracals, Panthers, SORI Cheetahs. Athletes practice, build skills, and work together to create exciting routines that are performed at competitions throughout the season.

We proudly offer both Prep and Elite team opportunities, giving cheerleaders the chance to grow at the level that best fits their experience and goals. Whether your athlete is new to cheer or looking to advance their current skills, Wildcats is a fun, supportive environment where athletes can build confidence, make friendships, and become part of a team family.

  

Our CheerAbilities team, offered through Special Olympics Rhode Island, is designed for athletes ages 16 and older to experience the excitement, teamwork, and confidence that cheerleading brings. This inclusive program focuses on building friendships, learning routines and skills, staying active, and creating a positive team environment where every athlete is celebrated. Our CheerAbilities athletes shine both on and off the mat while being part of a supportive and empowering cheer family.


*For ages 9-18, coaches evaluate each athlete's skills to determine which team they will be on.  All athletes are accepted to a team regardless of skill. No placements will be held for Baby Jaguars or Little Leopards as each athlete is accepted to the team appropriate to their age.


*Minimum five (5) participants per team to proceed to any competition.


* Attendance is mandatory. Repeat/unexcused absences may result in removal from the team that season.  

     

 Cost:

  • Sign-up Registration fee $250-$280 (due at the time of registration) | Half-year Registration $220
  • Monthly Tuition Ranges $110- $360/ month (depends on which team your athlete is on)
  • NEW Uniform fee $180-$250 (Due first month of practice)
  • USED Uniform fee $80

      

Tuition Perks:

  • 10% off all cheer and stunt summer camps
  • $10/open gym; includes stunting, tumbling, and dance help
  • $15 back handspring clinics


Fundraising:

Wildcats Cheer Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing young athletes with the opportunity to excel in competitive cheerleading. To support this mission, we host fundraisers each month during the season.


The funds raised through our Fundraising/Booster Club initiatives are exclusively allocated to enhance the Wildcats Cheer Team experience. This ensures that every contribution goes directly toward supporting the growth, development, and success of our cheerleaders.


Our commitment to using these funds solely for the Wildcats Cheer Team highlights our dedication to strengthening community support and creating pathways for aspiring athletes to thrive in their sport. By supporting our fundraisers, you're helping provide opportunities for our participants to grow, compete, and achieve their full potential.

Wildcats Baby Jaguars - Novice

Baby Jaguars Tiny Novice

Ages 3-7


Kickstart your child’s cheerleading journey with our  Baby Jaguars, the perfect introduction to competitive cheer for ages 3-7! As the first step in our cheer program, this team is designed to help young athletes develop essential skills in tumbling, stunts, jumps, and dance while having a blast in a positive, team-focused environment.


Our dedicated coaches create a fun and encouraging atmosphere where kids build confidence, coordination, and teamwork. Whether they’re learning their first stunt or mastering a cheer routine, every child is supported and celebrated as they grow.


With a strong focus on safety, sportsmanship, and skill development, the Baby Jaguars prepare young athletes for the next level of competitive cheerleading. This is where their passion begins, friendships are formed, and the excitement of cheer comes to life!

*  Baby Jaguars are not considered a travel team. This team will have 3+ competitions  within a 2-hour drive radius.*

Wildcats Little Leopards - Prep

Little Leopards Mini Prep

Welcome to the Little Leopards, our spirited competitive cheer team for young athletes ages 7-10! This "mini" team is designed for beginners who are eager to learn and grow in the world of competitive cheerleading. Our focus is on building foundational skills such as tumbling, stunts, jumps, and dance, all while fostering a love for teamwork, discipline, and fun.


Our coaches create a positive, supportive environment where every cheerleader can thrive. Whether it’s mastering basic stunt execution, or learning to cheer with confidence, each Little Leopard is encouraged to be their best. We celebrate every achievement, big or small, and believe that every child is capable of greatness.


With a focus on safety, teamwork, and sportsmanship, the Little Leopards Team is the perfect place for young athletes to start their cheerleading journey. Join us today and be part of something special as we cheer, grow, and roar together!

Wildcats Servals Youth Elite

Birth year 2013 and Later

 The Wildcats Servals are one of our Elite Competitive Cheer Teams, created for dedicated athletes with a birth year of 2013 and later who are ready to train, perform, and compete at an advanced level. Designed for athletes who are committed to excellence, the Servals provide a challenging, high-energy environment where every athlete is encouraged to maximize their potential.

Throughout the season, athletes receive comprehensive training in elite tumbling, stunting, pyramids, basket tosses, jumps, dance, motions, conditioning, flexibility, and performance technique. 


Every practice is purposefully structured to develop technical precision, strength, confidence, and consistency while preparing athletes to perform at the highest level of competition.


Led by experienced coaches, the Servals focus on developing complete athletes through progressive skill development, innovative choreography, and attention to detail. Athletes are challenged to embrace discipline, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and resilience while building the mental and physical confidence needed to succeed in today's competitive cheer environment.


The Servals proudly represent Wildcats at regional, national, and world competitions, competing against some of the area's strongest programs. Beyond the competition floor, athletes build lifelong friendships, develop lasting confidence, and become part of a supportive family that celebrates hard work, sportsmanship, and achievement.

Wildcats Panthers Senior elite

Birth year 2007-2016

 The Wildcats Panthers represent the highest level of competitive cheer within our program. Designed for dedicated athletes with birth years 2007–2016, this Elite team is built for competitors who are committed to pursuing excellence, embracing challenges, and performing at their absolute best.


The Panthers train in a high-performance, athlete-centered environment where every practice is intentional, every skill is refined, and every routine is developed with precision. Athletes receive advanced instruction in elite stunting, tumbling, pyramids, basket tosses, jumps, dance, strength and conditioning, flexibility, synchronization, and performance execution, creating well-rounded competitors prepared for the demands of elite-level competition.


Our coaching philosophy extends beyond skill development. We cultivate athletes who lead with confidence, compete with integrity, and demonstrate the discipline, resilience, and work ethic required to excel on and off the competition floor. Through progressive training, innovative choreography, and meticulous attention to detail, the Panthers strive to deliver dynamic, technically sound performances that leave a lasting impression.


The Panthers proudly represent Wildcats at regional, national, and world competitions, competing with passion, precision, and purpose. Every performance reflects countless hours of dedication, teamwork, and commitment to a championship mindset.
