Owner Coach Kate is a mom of 3, with a Bachelor's in Health Education, Master's in Business Administration, and PhD in Leadership.
In addition to all of her athletic and cheerleading expertise, Coach Kate specializes in nutrition and wellness, health education, and youth coaching. With her passion for teaching and health education, all staff go through specialized training to ensure their values and character align with the Wildcats' mission statement. All staff have a valid and recent BCI check, First Aid, and CPR training.
Wildcats philosophy is structured to incorporate all aspects of a youth athlete, not just the physical well-being. We believe it is important to teach not only proper and safe technique, but teamwork, communication skills, emotion regulation, critical thinking, and inspire creativity. We encourage students to give feedback to coaches and one another, and gain confidence in all of their abilities. What we do here is truly with a passion for incorporating youth sports and athletics, with social-emotional growth - our goal is to teach, but above all support the youths in our community by doing what we do best - and while having fun!
